I originally became hooked on 3D after using Worldcraft for the PC game Half-Life where I produced levels for my own use.
I am also interested in the Atlantic wall (World War 2 bunkers), so when the game Medal of Honour and Call of Duty arrived I found that I could use the MoH / CoD Radiant level editors to model these structures.
My first steps in "real" 3D work started after I installed Cinema 4D CE (release 6) onto my PC which came with 3D world magazine (2003).
A few years later I purchased a full version of C4D (Release 9 / core) and since then I have been regularly creating models of the Atlantic wall. I have no official academic 3D / visualization qualifications and everything I have learnt has been self taught from books, online tutorials and regular use of C4D.
During 2008 I completed my first two visualization jobs which came from colleagues overhearing that I was interested in 3D (Horse and Groom and the Bungalow). I decided not charge for this work as I felt that I would gain more in experience than from monetary motivation; I found that texturing and lighting was definitely my weak spot as I had been previously spending most of my time on modeling and nothing else. Thus I am currently following book tutorials on this subject to help me improve my skills.
If you would like me to create 3D models for you then please me....
